Training

As Royal Rangers Commanders we need to make sure we are continually bettering ourselves not only as people but also as leaders. There are numerous opportunities available to Commanders to help them not only be better outdoorsmen but to equip them to face the ever changing culture our young men and boys are facing. Topics range from conducting weekly meetings, to learning new outdoor skills, to dealing with special needs and identify substance abuse. Training is provided in two primary formats:

Courses

Courses are generally limited to a single topic and range from 2hrs to 8hrs in duration. Courses are generally offered at the Division level and are offered regularly throughout the year. Please check our "Events" section or check with your Division Coordinator for the dates and topics of upcoming courses.

Camps & Conferences

Camps and Conferences are intensive sessions that generally span several days. This format allows for not only hands on experience but very deep instruction on the topic. These camps and conferences are generally hosted by the National Office and rotate across the US from year to year.
